On Saturday October 21st, 2017 Natalie Chan and Livier Perez won second place in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Debate League (LAMDL) Novice Division out of 67 teams. Natalie placed 12th while Livier placed 4th in the individual speaker division out of 134 students. The Chan-Perez partnership has now moved up to Junior Varsity because in Livier’s words, “We’re too smart for novice.” HArts Academy is extremely proud of our strong debaters.
