Sherlock Holmes… Hercule Poirot...Miss Marple….Ellery Queen...Father Brown. The Mystery Club
is for anyone who appreciates a riveting whodunit or a suspenseful film with a surprise ending.
Since Edgar Allan Poe introduced the first detective story in 1841, mystery stories have become
one of the most popular genres in print and film. The Mystery Club gathers once a month after
school to view some of the best suspense and crime films of the last sixty years. So far this year we
have seen the Hitchcock film classics “Rear Window” and “Psycho”, “In the Heat of the Night” and
television shows such as “Death in Paradise” and “Ellery Queen”.
So if you want to be a part of HArts most intriguing club, come join us after school the first Wednesday of each month.
